Fly Fishing

For that more experienced angler try your hand at the extreme shallow and grass flats of the Ten Thousand Islands. Place that fly under the roots in front of that wiley Snook or Redfish and watch him as he inhales the imitation bait and the line goes taut. Probably some of the most difficult fishing but definitely rewarding. Best done early mornings when the sun is low in the sky. Catches can consist of Snook, Redfish, Jack Creval, Ladyfish, Sea Trout and the occasional Tarpon. Some of the areas most popular flies are imitations of shrimp, crabs, small shiners and mullet.
