Backwater Fishing
Relax and fish among the calm shallow shores of the 10,000 Islands.These tranquil waters hold numerous game fish such as Snook, Tarpon. Redfish, Snapper, Trout, Jack Crevalle, Pompano, Sheepshead and Ladyfish among others. As your cruising the shallows see Dolphins, Manatee and many different land and sea birds.
The backwaters require a little casting of either live or artificial baits along mangrove covered shores and sandy beaches. Easy to learn and we love teaching those new to fishing. Offshore Fishing
If you enjoy the adventure of the deeper waters, try heading offshore to some of Marco’s wrecks or artificial reefs.Catch the famous grouper and snapper that can become your night’s dinner or that gamefish that fights so well. King & Spanish Mackerel, Cobia, Shark or the granddaddy of Grouper, the Goliath Grouper (this monster can weigh up to 600lbs.)
The waters here are warm and shallow which provides ample area with numerous kinds of fish. Because of the depth, the waters can get a little choppy when the winds are strong from the south or west.
But our winds usually prevail from the east giving us somewhat calm conditions most of the year. This is great fun for the family and can often be combined with the backwater fishing for a combination trip of inshore and offshore fishing. Or if the kids need to stretch their legs stop off at a barrier island and find that one-of-a-kind shell.

shelling & Sightseeing
If you enjoy relaxing, this is the trip for you. We leave the dock and venture out into the mangrove Islands where you can see Dolphins, Osprey, Egrets, Herons, Ibis among other wildlife. Pull up along a beautiful white sandy beach covered in seashells. Grab your bag and walk in search of those special shells to take home.

Capt. Shaun is a Marco Island Native. He has run charters in this area for over 30 years! You wont find a more experienced guide in this area period. Shaun was awarded his Masters Captains license in 1993 by the United States Coast Guard. He remains current with all the required medical and first aid training to this date. Shaun is involved with The Marco Island Charter Captains Association, NACO (National Association of Charterboat Operators,) and the Yamaha Captains Program. “ I belong on the water. I’m just happier there”

Capt.Tyler was raised on these waters mating for his father from the time he could swim. He received his Captains License the moment he turned 18 years of age. Tyler graduates FAU in the Spring of 2025 with his Bachelors in Ocean Engineering. Tyler is only available over Holiday breaks, Summers and by special request some weekends. I would say Tyler is addicted to fishing and has fishing and boating in his blood.

Things you might need for your trip
Your Bait, Fishing License and Tackle are always included. Make sure you bring what ever you want to eat or drink. Other things you might need for open boat fishing, Sun screen, long sleeve cover up or shirts. and a camera to record the memories.

Captains Choice – the captain will choose what’s best for the sea conditions and where the fish are biting.
- Rates include up to 4 people Add $50 each additional person
- Bait, License and Tackle included
- Gratuities Not Included
- We reserve the right to change any offshore trips to calmer inshore waters based on the condition of the winds and waves. The trips will not be canceled unless the inshore waters are deemed unsafe.
- 7 Day cancellation Policy. $100 Deposit to reserve charter becomes nonrefundable at 7 days.
